Psaroneis App Privacy Policy

© Cretaquarium understands and respects your concerns about privacy. This notice describes the Psaroneis application privacy policy as it pertains to the website at www.cretaquarium.gr (the “Website”). We may revise this privacy policy periodically, and the date of the last revision will be available on this page, so please check back periodically.

By visiting the Cretaquarium website and downloading the Psaroneis app, you acknowledge and accept this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Psaroneis app after changes have been posted to the Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such changes.

Our Policy Towards Children's Privacy

Psaroneis application is designed for children and is committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the collection, storage, and use of personally identifiable information concerning children under the age of 13.

The Psaroneis application does not request, save, or share any personal information from its users. If you are a parent or guardian who becomes aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately using the contact details provided in the “Contact Us” section. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personally identifiable information, we will delete such information from our system.

Information Collection and Use

The Psaroneis application does not collect or store any personal information from users. The application requires access to the device camera to use AR features. Users can take screenshots within the application, which can be saved locally to the device. These screenshots are not transmitted or stored by the app or Cretaquarium.

Security Measures

To protect children from unsupervised web access, all in-app URLs that lead to the privacy policy, the app's official website, or social sharing functions are protected by a mathematical equation. This ensures that children cannot access these features without appropriate supervision.

No Advertisements

The Psaroneis application does not use any form of advertisement.

Purpose of the Application

The primary goal of the Psaroneis application is for users to color a printed card, which they can then scan using their device camera. The scanned images are applied as textures to 3D models of sea creatures inside the application, providing an interactive and educational experience for children.

Compliance with Google Play Families Policies

The Psaroneis app is designed to provide safe and high-quality content for families, including children. We are committed to complying with the Google Play Families Policies to ensure the safety and appropriateness of our app for users of all ages.

Target Audience and Content: We accurately identify the target audience for our app in the Google Play Console by selecting the appropriate age group. We ensure that our app's content is appropriate for the selected audience and does not contain any material that is not globally suitable for children.

Data Practices: We do not collect any personal or sensitive information from children without proper consent. Our app follows strict data practices, including not transmitting any sensitive information such as Android advertising identifier (AAID), SIM Serial, Build Serial, BSSID, MAC, SSID, IMEI, and/or IMSI from children or users of unknown age.

APIs and SDKs: We ensure that our app properly implements all APIs and SDKs, and we only use approved APIs and SDKs for child-directed services. Any APIs or SDKs used in our app are compliant with Google Play Families Policies.

Augmented Reality (AR): Our app includes a safety warning upon launch of the AR section, reminding users of the importance of parental supervision and awareness of physical hazards in the real world. We do not require the usage of devices that are not recommended for children.

Legal Compliance: We ensure that our app, including any APIs or SDKs used, complies with applicable laws and regulations, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy and Protection Act (COPPA), E.U. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and others.
